A Taste of Pittsford
The ninth annual A Taste of Pittsford event, presented by the Rotary Club of Pittsford in cooperation with Nazareth College and the Pittsford Chamber of Commerce, is a great occasion to eat and drink the best of what Pittsford has to offer — for many good causes. Monday, March 11, 2012
6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Shults Center at Nazareth College 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618 A Taste of Pittsford raises approximately $14,000 each year for local charities and international community service projects. (About $100,000 since its inception.) Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to charitable projects, thanks to the generosity of the restaurants and wine vendors who supply the food and beverage at no cost to the event). Nazareth College also donates the use of their facility, Schults Center, during the March early spring school break. It is a great event for Pittsford area restaurants and Finger Lakes Wineries to connect with potential customers. Other local businesses underwrite expenses such as bottled water, valet parking, entertainment, etc. All proceeds benefit Pittsford Rotary's local and international service programs. |
